This overdrive / distortion pedal by Ratin pedals creates the ultimate overdrive tone , reminiscent of vintage cranked tube amps. It is built with selected components to achieve a sustaining, singing tone. The Pedal features 3 knobs and 2 toggle switches to further alter the tone and eventually match the pedal’s sounds to your guitar and amplifier’s tonal character. Blue Angel Overdrive is very amplifier friendly that is, the pedal sound creates a superb and soothing tone on clean amps. This way, there is no need to crank the amplifier to get that creamy sound.

 

Cranked Stacks distortion pedal is a custom 3 stage design. The pedal delivers a warm distortion with a lot of maturity in sound. The pedal features a standard 3 knob configuration.
DRIVE: Turn the knob clockwise to increase the gain and consequently the sound have more sustain and distortion.
TONE: the tone circuit is a Big Muff type circuit with some variations, which reates a more efficient knob rotation to changes prportion. Turn the knob clockwise for more mid foucused type of sound.
LEVEL: Controls the amount of output sound volume.
