Introduction
This all tube amplifier is based on the legendary Plexi JTM 45 amplifier. This has been built with TAD Mustard capacitors to achieve a sustaining, singing tone.
The idea behind making this amp in this size was to make this timeless amp portable!
That is, if you are a fan of tube amps but the weight and size of them limit you, with this super compact all tube amplifier you are now limitless in using tube amplifiers!

Compact 45 in depth
Compact 45 is based on the Plexi JTM45 amplifier. The sound is unmistakably classic rock! Pair the amp with a Greenback loaded cab and a Gibson guitar and you'll find yourself in classic rock realm.
In making the amp, I have focused on the tone/ electronics and size. The cosmetics has never been an issue because I believe there are enough clone makers that have done some authentic looking clones. Portability along with tone and flexibility has been my key words in redesigning and making of this amp.
This amplifier has one input, on the contrary to these types of amps, that have 4 inputs. Mostly by these amps, the inputs get bridged by a small patch cable. In Compact 45 these inputs are internally jumpered.
As we all know tube amps sound better if they are played loud. The problem is taht it is not always possible to play loud, in this situation a master volume is very helpful. PPIMV or Post Phase Inverter Master Volume is a type of master volume that is placed after the phase inverter stage. Using PPIMV you can use / engage the phase inverter stage to create the tone better since this stage is a key factor in making the creamy and organic tone such amps are famous for. And still you can play with reasonable sound volume. That is with this amp you don't have to play at full loudness to create that sound.
