MD2 is a high gain distortion that boasts two knobs with which the gain / distortion could be controlled. With this mod, the Gain Boost knob will be enganged and disengaged with the Footswitch. 
A new knob controls the midrange frequencies, which is a helpful tool for shaping the tone of this pedal .

 

This mod has two parts. The footswitch that engages and disengages the Gain Boost knob, does not alter the tone and character of the MD2. The midrange knob is a custom circuit that controls the midrage of the pedal. Turning it counter clockwise increases the midrange frequencies and fattens up the the sound. To scoop the mids turn this knob clockwise.
